I truly appreciate your kind comments and memories on my wife Pat. She was a wonderful person and parent and grandmother
She wasn’t a saint but was in my eyes , always thinking of others and caring when she could unselfish with a great smile and personality She was a musician singer dancer and loved 50’s music especially the Platters . Her grandchildren were a priority for taking care of them for several years growing up and looked forward to seeing them as much as she could in recent months. One day recently she had them in the bedroom teaching the high points of making a bed.
She didn’t deserve her fate surviving many years of one cancer only to contract a second and survived several months beyond
what expected.
I miss her now more than the day she passed
I thank you all for kind and loving comments.
Art Kinsman

Little Pat, maybe in statue but not in personality.
One of the things I found most dear about Pat was her wonderful sense of humour. I’ll never forget the video she sent to me of her trying to get up on the high bed in their Florida rental house. It brought tears of laughter to my eyes. And she sure did love ice cream! I remember her telling me, this is my medicine that keeps me alive, it’s better than any of that conventional stuff.
Little Pat put up a strong battle for many years against her illness, but she didn’t let it slow her down. She fought it with determination and gumption and lived every day to its fullest.
She will certainly be missed by all of her Florida golfing friends, of which I was one. I feel very fortunate that our paths crossed and the memories of her I will cherish forever.

Q: How did you meet Patricia?
A: My dear friend Pat, we shared more than a cart on our golf round…the memories of our laugh and amazing conversation will stay with me forever. Your strength, humour and friendship was something I looked forward every week while in Florida. I will miss you. With much love, from your Canadian friend. Denyse

I am so very sorry to learn of Pat's passing. I adored her and loved our many, many rounds of Golf together at Plymouth CC and PineHills. She was devoted to her family, a wonderful wife to Art and grandmother to her grandchildren. I will miss her so much, I lovingly called her "Little Pat". We had so many fun times together through the years, she always had me laughing. I will remember her and miss her always.

I wanted to share a few interesting talents that many people might not know about Pat. She was a fantastic dancer. I don't remember exactly how I learned of this but there might have been wine involved served at my home. She could dance to do-op shockingly well. We also learned that night that she was a very talented pool player, evidently she learned from her father.. There was never money involved, no one would dare bet against her she could beat us all. We had many laughs together.
Everyone who knew Pat, knew how funny she could be. That was no secret .She was known for her fiery wit and could take any circumstance and find fun in it. Even meeting with the Funeral director that day to plan her funeral, we shared many laughs, especially when she said she wanted a purple casket.
Pat, although small in stature, was mighty and had a backbone of steel. She dealt with her illness like a warrior. She laughed when telling me they did not think she would last that long. she never wanted confrontation, but never shied away from difficult situations. She always tried to do the right thing for herself and others, She told us many stories of her time working with students. Many would have given up she did not. She was a listener. Whenever you had a problem or even to share your news, you knew she heard every word. She was present.!!!!!
Pat's favorite thing to talk about was her family. She loved them so intensely. her pride in them was so obvious and she would glow when speaking of them. She told me many times that Artie was a good man and great husband. Recently she mentioned how her brother came ad I believe brought pizza from her favorite childhood place in Lawrence. They spent the day with Everett and others playing music. she said it was one of the best days she had.
I will so miss my friend, She was Gold, diamond, platinum every gem you could think of rolled into one. She was a rare find and I was lucky to call her my friend. We joked, when you pass Pat send me a sig that you are here. We laughed about that and tried to find something we could agree on. So I will wait and hope I will recognize her attempt. Knowing her it will be funny.

Mrs. Kinsman was by far the best teacher I have had in my life, and I wouldn't have been able to graduate high school without her help. I think of her with fondness whenever I think of Bicknell Jr. High School and the time I spent there. I am sad to her of her passing but happy she lived such a full life.
