To Barbara and Nancy and all of the family, we Reckes are all very sad to hear of the death of Janet, one of our earliest childhood friends from the big house down the street, across from the Pond. We remember Janet as friendly, happy, pretty, always up for a good time playing in all of the back yards and houses that were so welcoming to all of us there. What a time we all had! Janet was my (John's) classmate as we all began school at Ripley Road, and then Deer Hill and on into Junior High on Pond St. In school, she was so smart, friendly, hard working. I am so happy to see that she went on to great successes in life as time went by. May you all be comforted by your family, friends, and faith. Love, John Recke
