Michael Courtney O’Brien of Carver passed peacefully at home on the morning of Monday the 25, 2023.

Born April 25, 1962, in Holyoke MA, he is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Sandra O’Brien (Legare) of Carver, his mother Marilyn O’Brien (Bertoli) of Holyoke and his two daughters: Brittney O’Brien of Carver MA, and Caitlin O’Brien and Fiancé Ryne Morrison of Rochester, NY. He is pre-deceased by his parents Ray and Betty O’Brien. He was a loving husband, son, father, brother-in-law, uncle and cousin.  

Michael was a dedicated and long-standing employee of Schneider Electric (The Foxboro Co.) He graduated from Worchester Polytechnical Institute with a B.A. Degree in Chemical Engineering. He was an avid Boston sports fan and an enthusiastic supporter of his daughter’s athletic careers.

Arrangements for a celebration of life will be made at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Carver Athletic Booster Club. As well as the American Diabetes Association.
