Doris Jordan of Pembroke passed away on July 11, 2022. Born November 20 1928 in Boston MA, 

She was married to the late Louis Jordan, a veteran of the United States Navy, Mother of the Late Linda Morrissette and stepmother to the late Louis C. Jordan, sister of the late John Quinn, Francis X Quinn, Eleanor Quinn (infant), Evelyn Quinn Nichols, Robert Quinn, William Quinn, Ronald Quinn, and George Quinn.

After a career working as a homemaker for Catholic Charities and serving many wonderful clients, she remained active and independent well into her 90’s. She was known, and will always be remembered by her kindness, generosity, great sense of humor and infectious laughter. 

She is survived by her brother Allan Quinn of Sun City, CA, stepsons Edward Jordan of Braintree MA, and Robert Jordan of Norwell, Ma., children, Carol (and Rick) Wayland of Tyler TX, Susan (and Russel) Gettemy of Plympton, James (and Ellie) Lane of Hudson FL, Steven Lane of Manomet, MA, Kevin (and Francine Diamond) Jordan of Manomet, MA and many wonderful and amazing Nieces, Nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive visitors Friday July 15th from 10:00 to 11:30AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St,Kingston. A service will take place at Shepherds at 11:30. Interment will directly follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Plympton.
