My dearest Gail, well, the memories we shared...where do I start? How about the 3 of us meeting up with my dad and drinking homemade bloody Mary’s at nana’s...from there the Club...from there.. Hawaii Garden’s...❤️. Most of all I want you to know that the day my father died -I was a wreck-you called me somehow remembering my number. we talked for an hour-you talked to me about loss as you had experienced it all and told me that loss was going to happen to us all. At the beginning of the call I was frantic with grief after we hung up I was at peace- it made me realize that the bond we once shared-mother and daughter -could not be broken by time. It was there all along. May John experience this same Peace when he reads this, thinks of you and my dad, looking marvelous (lipstick on perfectly) clinking glasses in celebration that they made it Home!
