I am so sorry to hear about his passing. I have so many fond memories of “Papa Dray”. He had an amazing charm that could not be matched by anyone I have known . He was a kind man with integrity, grace and a giant heart of gold. When you were in his presence, time stood still and life became easy and any stress or worry you may have had just disappeared.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family and friends.

I was BLESSED to grow up next door to the Dray family in Maine. So many memories of cookouts, dinner at HUTs, wiffle ball games in the yard and on the beach. Bob's big chuckling laugh after calling out AL as he greeted me. So welcoming, warm, and caring.
I am happy to have so many GREAT memories of this special man.
June and family, you all have special memories, remember them. Let them make you cry, laugh, laugh and cry, because he was a good one. He lives on in all of you. Thanks for sharing him with me.
Love and Hugs to you All.

Mr. Dray was a positive influence on so many. I have so many fond memories at the rink and at the Capiabianco family parties over the years. He was a great coach and an even better person! My deepest condolences, he will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

My condolences to the Dray family.
I was fortunate to have Bob as my youth hockey coach for two seasons. And I have had a friendship with him ever since. During my time playing for him he acquired the nickname "Foo". I remember him as a passionate coach who cared about his players. He taught us all how to respect one another and the game of hockey.
He always had the juicy fruit going behind the bench and he could really let you know if he wasn't happy with the effort. I remember Foo demanding that we always work hard and play the right way. He taught us the game and we all respected him.
I have fond memories of playing golf with Bob. I was always his teammate during "The Foo Classic". He loved being on the course with his former players talking sports and always caring about what was going on in our lives. He was a much better golfer than me but when I hit a good shot he would yell "Hey Bern". Those were great times.
Over the years I have become friends with many of Bob's family members and I want them all to know that my thoughts and prayers are with them and how important his friendship was to me.

Jim & I were saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. He was a wonderful man, great friend and a terrific coach with a heck of a laugh. He left his influence on a great number of Brockton boys, ours included. We have all lost one of the great ones.

Bob was like our big brother. My brothers and I all wore his and- me - down hockey equipment. I was probably 5 or 6 years old but I can still picture going to his high school hockey games with Uncle Lenny and cheering him on . There were two # 2 s on the team. One boy had a big 2 and Bob had a small 2 . I kept cheering “ C’mon little 2 !! “ We’ll miss our big brother.
