We are all so so sad to read this. Anne, I know we’ve spoken many times and always on the basketball court. When nick will and I saw this news, My boys and I immediately recognized Jack, and we are all so saddened. Your dedication to him here in his obituary helped us learn what an amazing person he was.
Please know his smile and athletic nature went far beyond carver. Sending love

We will always remember Jack’s infectious smile, vibrant personality and how he warmly welcomed our son, Shane (the only non-Carver player) onto his travel basketball team. There are no words to express our sorrow and deepest sympathy to Ann, Erin and all of Jack’s family and friends. He was taken way too soon and will be missed by so many. This photo was taken exactly 6 years ago today from when the team played at the TD Garden before a Celtics game, a memory that we will treasure forever. RIP Jack!

Jack was the most loved little brother of all time. Now, I don’t remember a lot of what I learned in high school- however, I DO remember Erin Quindley constantly talking about her little brother and even in their early years when sisters and brothers don’t get along... Erin still came to school with a new story about Jack, almost every day. That bond will live on, one that is as remarkable as it is rare. My most heartfelt thoughts and prayers to all of Jack’s family and friends.

Ann and Steve,
I was so blessed to have had such a long lasting relationship with Jack.
I met him in the 3rd grade and was instantly taken by his passion for life and the people he loved and respected. He was a fine athlete, but he was so much more. I am proud to say he called me a mentor, friend and coach.
We recently talked about joining the Marines, and Jack said you know Coach it really is a good thing to do. That's the Jack I will, " ALWAYS LOVE" he was always trying to do good things .
We are all better for having him in ours lives. My prayers are with you all.
Family for life and beyond,
Mike " Coach" Grant

Ann, Erin, and family. I can’t fully express my condolences. Jack was and will always be one of a kind. He was the student I always hoped for and the young man I wished everyone could be. Beyond that, the spark he carried most adults go lifetimes without. He is cherished and so are you. All the light in the world could not outshine what Jack Offers. I know he is with you forever and always. If I can do anything, please let me know.

Thinking of you, and praying for your family. I did not know your boy, but it is clear he is a fine soul. I'm sorry for your physical loss. His journey continues along side you. You will meet again. He has purpose on the other side, maybe with the young who have passed, since theat was his gift here. The veil is thin. He will share his signs, and you are wished peace and comfort.

The first time I met Jack i thought how wonderful this little blond blue eyed mischief is my Grandson. Hi quick smile and mischievous manner won my heart immediately. He loved to tease his sister and it was very obvious that he adored his Mom. He and his Step Dad Steve were buddies and is was very obvious that Jack looked up to Steve. It was also pretty apparent that Steve spoiled Jack a bit.
Over the years Jack grew in leaps and bounds and each time I saw him he was quite a bit taller. I watched how tender and caring he was with his baby cousin Hannah and it melted my heart. He visited me last summer along with a few of his buddies and it really touched me that he would take time our of having fun with his friends to come see me. Jack was an extraordinary young man and those who knew and loved him was better for it. My heart breaks that I will never get to see you get married and have children. You would have been a wonderful Dad you certainly had great role models. I can't express the pain in loosing you. I love you now and always.

Dear Ann and Family, I am deeply sorry for your family's terrible loss. No mom seemed prouder than you, Ann, when you talked about Jack and Erin. What an impressive young man, and how blessed you were to have had him as your son. "If there is ever a tomorrow when we're not together . . . there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart . . . I'll always be with you." Winnie the Pooh (A.A. Milne). Wishing you comfort in the difficult days ahead.
