Obituary of Regina K. Bannerman

Regina ( Reggie) Kirk Bannerman died peacefully at her home Thursday, July 19, surrounded by family, following a brief illness. She was born in Stratford Ct. in 1932, the daughter of Jack and Annie Kirk. Regina married her High School sweetheart, Clifford A Bannerman, in 1955. After spending time living in Pennsylvania, Madison Ct., and East Longmeadow, Ma., they settled in Duxbury, Ma. 
Regina was an active member of Al-anon, sang in the Snug Harbor Chorus, and swam with the Deep Enders Swim Club. She was a volunteer at the Duxbury Free Library after being a Library Tech there for 16 years. She loved playing tennis and doing needlepoint with her dear friends. Reggie loved working in her yard, walking her pup, and spending time with her grandchildren. 
Regina is survived by her children Nancy (Martin), Douglas (Karen), Catherine Marques (Stephen) and David, as well as her grandchildren Sarah, Amy, and Taylor. She is predeceased by her husband, Clifford Bannerman, and her grandson Cameron Thrasher.  

Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston on Sunday, July 29, from 1:00 to 3:00PM. A Service will follow at 3:00PM.
