Dan and I shared many years together as Scoutmasters of Troop 82, and neighbors, in Duxbury. There are countless stories of the backpacking trips, canoe trips, biking/camping trips, fun downhill ski trips with ice fishing on Lake Winnipesaukee, bushwhacker ski/backpacking/camping trips in the dead of NH winter, service projects, plant sales and the many, many campfires, where Dan & I became such close friends, talking about similar life experiences.
Dan lived a long, colorful life, becoming skillful in many areas and, always, a conscientious, hard-working person of integrity. He enriched the lives of many young scouts and his fellow Scouters.
We shall all enjoy the great memories of our years with our dear friend, Dan.
