Doc was larger than life, someone who will never be forgotten and will never be replaced. His love of life, his family, his friends, his patients and customers was unmatched. His life’s lessons were legion and I was reminded of one today by a mutual friend: “Children are your investment; grandchildren are your dividends ...” I will miss his stories, his laughter and his compassion. We all have learned many lessons from Doc…one of them is life is too short…even at 79. My condolences to Mrs. Murphy and Jackie, Jimmy, Joe, Jeff and his wife and his beloved grandchildren. I hope you are consoled by the recognition of the value of Doc’s life.
