We were saddened to hear of Dottie's passing. We were always glad to see her at the various quilt shows we did, and had many happy days in each other's company. She will be missed by all of us in her industry. To die quickly with no pain or suffering is a blessing; we just wish her blessing had come later.Marian Bressel, Fabritique

There are never any words that can ease the pain in your heart. I only knew Dottie through the Quilt and Redwork World, but any time I asked her for help, she was ever so willing to share without reservation. Her inspiration will sustain to us all who would stop by her booth at all the Quilt Shows.
Thank you for sharing her with us.

To Dottie's family,
I was shocked and saddened to read of Dotties passing. The quilters' world has suffered a great loss, and she will be greatly missed. Dottie always had a smile on her face, and a kind word. But, Dottie was also a woman of strong faith, and our loss is Heaven's gain. God bless Dottie, and help her family at this difficult time. She will be watching over you. With love, Debbie from Cape Cod

Richard and Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your wife and mother. She was a wonderful friend to me during my time at Country Quilt and Fabric. We shared many quilt shows, classes and laughs. She taught me that quiet faith is something that is always with you and I will always love her for that. My prayers are with you all during this most difficult time.
Love, Lynne Benard

You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Dottie was such a wonderful woman. She was full of the Spirit and an encourager to so many. She had an eye for the hurting, lonely, and discouraged. Her smile could warm the coldest heart. She will be very missed at MCC but know that absent from the body means present with the Lord. A faithful woman who loved her God and walked with Him.
