Obituary of Joseph J. Maher

Joseph J. Maher, Jr, 62, of Duxbury died at his home July 11. Beloved husband of Rosemary B. Minehan. Loving father of Joseph Maher, III and Anne Maher both of Duxbury.Son of the late Joseph J. and Ellen (Lawless) Maher. Brother of Carol Maher of Holyoke, Patricia Martin and her husband Leo of Norwell, William Maher of Alexandria, VA, and Colleen Benton and her husband John of Bartlett, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Joseph was a 1965 graduate of Cathedral High School, a 1969 graduate of St. Michaels College and a 1973 graduate of Suffolk Law School. Funeral from the Shepherd Funeral home, 216 Main St. (Rt. 106) Kingston on Fri.July 16 at 9:00AM, followed by a funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, Duxbury at 10:00AM. Interment in Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury. Visiting hours on Thurs. 4-8PM .
