Barbara and family...
All of us are devastated by Sheldon's passing. I have great memories of him...always laughing and smiling. He was one of the most genuine, kind-hearted people I have ever met. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
With Love,

Barbara,
I am so very sorry to hear of Sheldon's passing, you have my deepest sympathies. May you know he is now at peace. He was such a fun man, I remember him helping my parents for their Halloween parties and the spooky Halloween ideas he would come up with for his own haunted happenings. He was so talented, my mom still has the wood carving he made of the JESUS optical illusion. It was always great seeing you both at their open house almost every year.
I want you to know you are in my prayers & thoughts!

I offer my deepest sympathy to the family. May you have confidence in the promised resurrection that lies ahead. Jesus Christ himself said: "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28,29)

My DEEPEST SYMPATHY to Barbara and family. Sheldon was one of the nicest guys I have ever had the honor to have as a friend. He was a caring, honest, special classmate. He was loved dearly by all. My prayers will be with you as you go through this terrible ordeal. Barbara, you are a beautiful woman who will always be a part of the Class of '56 family. Sheldon will be looking down on us laughing at some of the crazy jokes at the next class reunion. Love, Ginny

Dear Barbara, Just want to extend my deepest sympathies for your loss. I thoroughly enjoyed my talks with Sheldon on religion and science. His knowledge and point of view were enjoyable to listen to. I understand the pain you must be going through as I loss my wife of 18 years just 4 years ago. Friends, family and faith are indispensible at this time of your life. If I can be of assistance in helping you during this time I am willing to help in any way that I can. I will at the very least attempt to be there during calling hours on Friday and hopefully be able to visit you personally at a later date to see how your holding up. What a wonderful day it will be when all the promises of the Bible are fulfilled, especially Rev. 21:3,4 - With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Sheldon was a kind, gentle man, and at the same time, a fun-loving kid. From the crazy costumes and Halloween spooks, to the intricate wooden creations he made in his workshop, he had an innate way of combining his creativity and humor simply to make others smile. It was obvious how much he loved his dear wife, adored his family and truly enjoyed himself during his time on earth. His light shines on in those who were lucky to know him, but he will be missed.
