To the all Hoyt family: I AM JUST SO SORRY TO READ, IN THE BOSTON GLOBE ON LINE, OF MR. HOYT'S DEATH. BOB AND I ARE AT OUR HOUSE IN KEY WEST FOR THE REST OF THE WINTER AND WE ARE SO SORRY NOT TO BE ABLE TO EXPRESS OUR SORROW IN PERSON AT THE PASSING OF YOUR BELOVED FATHER. WE CERTAINLY WILL BE AT HIS SERVICES IN JUNE. HOW WELL I REMEMBER WHAT A GREAT GUY HE WAS, DATING FROM THE SUMMER TIMES THAT MANNY AND I WERE LITTLE GIRLS AND HANGING OUT AT YOUR HOUSE ON WINDSOR STREET, AND ALSO IN WEST NEWTON. HE WAS SUCH A STERLING CITIZEN AND A FUNNY MAN TO BOOT !!! HE LIVED A LONG AND STIMULATING LIFE AND HIS CONTRIBUTIONS WILL LONG BE REMEMBERED.
PLEASE KNOW THAT WE ARE THINKING OF YOU WITH LOVE AND THE FONDEST OF REMEMBRANCES.
RUTH AND BOB LAMERE
