Obituary of William M. McNeil

William M. McNeil Jr. of Kingston formerly of Duxbury passed away at his home at the age of 66. He is survived by his loving wife Christine (DelVecchio) McNeil of Kingston, 4 children; William McNeil of PA, David McNeil of RI, Jeffrey McNeil of ME, and Shelley Daley of Duxbury. William is also survived by his brother Stephen McNeil of CA, sisters; Joanne Wills of Duxbury, Stacey Linynsky of MD and 6 grandchildren; Brian, Laning, Jessie, Jameson, Madelyn and William and his niece Jennie and Great Niece Geeana. William was born in Brockton to the late William M. and Mary (Elwell) McNeil. He was a Duxbury High School graduate and later attended North Adams State College. William was a Math Teacher in the Duxbury School system for 20 years and also coached during that time. After retiring he was a dispatcher for Kingston Corp. Trucking Co. He also was an avid golfer and boater. Calling hours will be held Sunday October 18th at Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St. (Rte 106) Kingston from 4-8pm. A service will be held Monday October 19th at 10am at Shepherd Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury.
