So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I just discovered his obituary while on the internet. We were roomates for a time at North Adams State College. He was a happy and fun guy to be around and we had some good times together while I was there. My regards to all those family members and friend who have known and miss this fine man.

I am so sorry to hear of Billy's death... We called him that at North Adams State College. And I regret hearing of his death only today, for I dearly wish I could have attended the services for him. He was a fun companion during our college days and a fine friend.
I remember sitting in a classroom for parents years ago, listening to him explain what his students (our children) would be doing that year. Later I went up to speak with him. I said "Billy, it's so strange to be here sitting in your classroom as a parent to one of your students!" To which he replied, "You think it's strange! How do you think I feel?" And we both laughed. My daughter was blessed to have had him as a teacher that year.
May God comfort you and give you the strength and courage to face each day.

Our sincere sympathy to Billys family. We will always remember very fun college days and who would have ever thought it would be our good luck to continue in Duxbury. He will always be young and what a great Dad. Lost touch and did not have the pleasure of sharing the second part of his lifetime, but will treasure the great times we had. Love to all of the family. Best Regards, Tim and Claire Carroll
