Obituary of Glenn McCarthy

Glenn McCarthy of Duxbury passed away at his home in Duxbury on July 10th at the age of 53. Born in Quincy to Donald McCarthy of Bourne MA, and the late Helen (Pilalas) McCarthy. He was also step-son of the late Mario Notarangelo. Glenn is survived by his 3 children; Jacob, Kristopher and Nicholas and was the husband of Barbara McCarthy of Duxbury. He is also survived by his siblings: Susan Driscoll of Pembroke, Paul McCarthy of Pembroke, Robert McCarthy of Hanson, Steven Notarangelo of Kingston, Linda Sevigny of Pembroke, Dominic Notarangelo of Pembroke and the late Richard Notarangelo. He has 1 grandchild; Kyree Travers and many nieces and nephews. Glenn loved fishing and the outdoors. He was the life of the party and lived to make people laugh. Calling hours will be held Sun. July 19th from 4-8pm at Shepherd Funeral Home 7 Mattakeesett St. (Rte 14) Pembroke Center. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home Mon. July 20th at 9am with a funeral mass to follow at St. Joseph the Worker in Hanson MA at 10am. Burial will be private.
