Barbara: I was so sad to read of Glenn's passing I knew him for a short time while I was in duxbury, but was very fond of him and had a lot of laughs every time he came into the office. I think of you often and will say a prayer for you as you try to get through this difficult time.

We are so sorry and saddened by your your loss. Your loss is our loss too.
Glen was very dear and loved by all of us. He had a home away from home with our family for over 15 years. In the 21 years we have known Glen he was always the perfect gentleman, he was honest and faithful, creative, always ready to help with anything no matter how large or small day or night always with a smile.
I will always remember how excited Glen would get when he would go on hunting trips with his friends. He loved the Autumn. Glen was always thrilled when he would spot a deer or an unusual bird on the marsh, he enjoyed the pumpkins, the fall colors, and the cider! He was like a child during the holidays always keeping the joy of Christmas alive.
Glen was one in a million. He was a very sensitive man,I always thought under different circumstances Glen would have been an artist by profession. He had the temperament of an artist inside of a construction workers title. He loved hunting, fishing, nature, hanging with his buddies and animals. Glen deeply loved his sons, his brothers and sisters, his family. They meant everything to him. And what they thought of him was very important to Glen. Glen wanted to liked by everyone and went out of his way to help people.
Glen never wanted to be a burden to anyone. He had so much pride. We all know in our respective ways how much we loved him and would done anything to help him had he asked. Perhaps this strength and pride was his undoing.
As much as we will miss him and as hard it is to let go. We know that Glen is in a better place now. That he is at peace. Glen also would not have wanted us to be saddened by his passing or to feel responsible or guilty. He cared for us too much. He always wanted to make people happy and to hear their laughter.I know he will always be with us. Looking down and watching over us. He is waiting for our tears of grief to pass and become smiles of acceptance.
Glen believed in God, guiding lights and angels. Now he is our guardian angel. All we have to have to do is look around and Glen will be there watching over us forever.
We love you Glen.

To the family and friends of Glenn McCarthy -
There are really no words to say that can change what has happened. My Aunt and Kevin told me about what has happened and it has been a terrible blow. Glenn was a great friend to me during my 4 year stay in the South Shore. We spent the entire summer of 2001 together working and having fun, he treated me like someone would treat their nephew or brother. We spent 9/11 together and many nights steaming clams and having beers, We would sit around and talk for hours about everything and nothing and have the best of times. I'll never forget all the good memories we shared. It's hard to believe he is no longer here. Since the time I spent in the South Shore, I always looked forward to seeing him every time I come to visit. I'm so sorry this has happened. I'll miss seeing you Glenn - you old weasel - I hope peace has found you and I think of the good times often - love from your old bro Michael Pelosi - I hope you are doing good up there. My prayers go out to Dominic and the entire McCarthy family. I am so sorry for your loss. If there is anything I can do from here please let me know, anything at all. God Bless you Glenn and everyone. I'm very sorry

I was very sorry to hear of Glenn's passing. Glenn has been a family friend to the Castellano's for many years. I have had the pleasure to socialize with Glenn on numerous occassions at my father's house in Pembroke. I know my brother Tony was especially saddened by the loss. I will keep Glenn and his family in my prayers and I will always remember the laughter I shared when with him.
God Bless,
Frank Castellano

To Barbara and the entire McCarthy/Nostrangelo family: Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of dear Glenn. I met Glenn through my husband Ken Reardon and was able to enjoy Glenn's charm and wit. As I look around our home I am constantly reminded of Glenn as he wallpapered and refinshed the woodwork in 6 rooms of our home. Always a dapper dresser, even while on the job. We will miss hime and are sadden by his departing. Our thoughts are with you during this very sad time.
