I'll always remember Jean's terrific smile and wonderful laugh and how full of life she always was - I've missed that but it lives on in memory. I'll always remember the comradery she had with Ruthie and Eva. I remember the fun my family and I when we visited the aunts and uncles in Florida. I wish Jean's illness didn't rob us all of her these last years. I truly believe she's reunited with those she loved who have gone on before, and that all are safe and happy in Heaven with God.
Peace to Manny, my cousins and their families.

In my most vivid memories of childhood I see Gram as a healthy, energetic, 60 year old woman. She did a lot of "Grandmother stuff", like wearing her curlers to bed and soaking her dentures, but for the most part she was able to keep the rowdy child I was entertained.
I remember Sunday mornings were deemed "Pancake Sunday". Gram would be up befor dawn. Lying in bed I could hear and smell all the activity in the kitchen. Cabinets opening and closing, the smell of coffee brewing and the steady hum of a radio quietly playing wordless melodies, all mingled together creating a familiar gentle wake-up call.
Lured to the kitchen by the aroma of breakfast, I'd stand at the threshold, in the dim hallway. The sun streamed through the bay window engulfing the round wooden dining table in a halo of early morning light. Seeing me in the doorway, Gram would singsong a good morning, as she bustled around the tiny kitchen.
After we mixed all the pancake ingredients together Gram would cook silver dollar pancakes for me. She'd place them straight from the pan to my waiting plate as soon as they were crispy and golden brown on both sides. While we ate we discussed options for the day's events. Maybe a trip to the creamery to see the cows and get a hand dipped ice cream cone, or a drive around town to look for yard sales and a possible bargain, or play a few board games at the kitchen table. No mater the activity we always had a great time. I'll forever cherish the memories of my weekends with Gram and the traditions we created will live on.
Love Stacy

I want to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your loved one. You can be
assured that comfort and hope are found in the pages of the Bible. Revelations 21:4 speaks of a time when sorrow will be no more. This is a wonderful hope during our times of grief and pain. Please take care of yourselves.
Sincerely Mrs. Watkins
