I speak for 2 guys who grew up with Bruno (Buddy)on lower Main Street, Ansonia, CT. We remember his mother, grandmother, grandfather and cousin Johnny. Buddy was part of our little gang that went sledding, ice skating, fishing, swimming and played baseball together in Ansonia, CT. We all went to the Sat. afternoon matinee movies and saw cartoons and cowboy movies. We are sad to lose part of our youth with the passing of another one of our guys. The family should know that he was a good kid. His success I believe was prompted by his early years and desire to make his mark. Some of us became successful and I am glad Buddy did too. He will not be forgotton by his old neighborhood friends.

I had the privileged of meeting Bruno through my program at American International College. He taught four of our cohort courses over the past two years. As an instructor, Bruno was motivating and inspirational. His personal stories and experiences always connected to our learning and gave a glimmer of laughter to our studies. He was truly a kind and caring individual who loved children and teaching. Bruno often talked about his family and shared stories with us about them and their adventures. My thoughts are with you all and thank you for sharing Bruno with me.

To: Mr.Z's Family:
My children were fortunate enough to have Mr.Z as their teacher at Norwell Jr. High. They, along with all the other students, loved him. He certainly had a way with kids, making them feel secure and comfortable in the classroom, helping them whenever possible. But more importantly, he had his students respect. We always hear individuals speak of one teacher that had a lasting impression on them and Mr. Z I feel did that at Norwell Jr. High. I remember how sad everyone was when he left the school. How fortunate those students were to have him as a teacher and friend. I always remember my son, Bob coming home from school with stories about Mr. Z when he would speak about his family. God bless you.

Bruno was a wonderful friend. We worked together in Norwell for many years. I especially remember the fun we had in the summer program. I think of him playing Crows and Cranes, singing,Down By the Bay, and cooking hamburgers and hot dogs at the pond in Plymouth. Always with a big smile.
His total devotion to his family and his students was what I admired so much in Bruno.
My prayers for you in your sorrow.
May God bless you.

Let me begin by saying that I am so sorry for your loss.
Bruno and I worked together as fellow adjunct professors at American International College. He was so collegial and helpful to me. He was never too busy to help solve a problem and/or to just have a good conversation. His expertise as an educator was his gift to all the teachers and students he worked with and he will be missed.

It is with great sadness I offer my condolences to his family. I had the great fortune of being a graduate student in three of Bruno's classes. He entertained us with his stories, delivered with the level of animation only he could accomplish. He shared his experiences as an educator so as to mold his students into wiser educators. His passing is a great loss for us all. I will keep him and his family in my prayers. God Bless!

Oh, I am so sorry about Bruno. He was by far one of the nicest people I have ever met, and he will be sorely missed.
It is because of Bruno that I am teaching for AIC and that my friend got a job working with Bruno. I have a wonderful letter of recommendation from him (complete with a typo!). He had such an air of fun about him and was an accomplished educator. When I think of him, I smile.
I am so sorry for your loss - please accept my deepest sympathy.

We will always remember Mr. Z for his kindness and understanding. As he was preparing to retire from the Highlands School, we were packing to move to NJ. He knew how sad Max was about leaving so he gave him the Alexander Book- I Am Never, Absolutely Never, Going To Move". We all read it many times. He will be missed by all who knew him, including the thousands of "children" who's lives he touched. Our prayers go out to his family and friends.
