Doug, I have always thought of your parents as an extension of my own. It seems like more than half of my childhood was spent while your family lived on Maple Ave. and then also later on in our teenage years over on Evergreen St.
And all that time, your Mom & Dad always made me feel welcomed.
It is so sad to hear of the loss of your father. I will always remember him coming home and watching as play basketball or seeing you having target practice with your bb gun.
He will be missed.
