Robert Albion Cline of Duxbury died on May 22,2008 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston after a brief illness at the age of 81.He was the husband of his adoring wife of 58 years Jane (White) Cline of Duxbury. Father of C.Brandt and his wife Teresa of Westford, William Cline and his wife Dorothy of Duxbury and Donald Cline and his wife Lori of Halifax. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and a soon to be great grandchild. Bob lived in Duxbury since 1966 where he was active and respected member of the community, he was also known as a leader for many years in the field of electronic security and fire alarm. Bob served in the US Navy during WWII and received many military honors including the Purple Heart, he was a lifetime member of the American Legion and was active with the American Legion Post 223 and served as their Commander numerous times. A memorial services will be held on Sat. May 31,2008 at the Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St (Rt106) Kingston Ma at 1pm. Following the memorial services a celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the American Legion Post 223 at the corner of Rte 3 and West St in Duxbury.
