We are so sorry to hear of Rose's passing. We have lots of fond memories of times we spent with Rose while she was a member of the Carver Dem. Town Committee. She was also a long time friend of my Mom and Dad (Frank and Grace Mazzilli). My Mom passed away last June and I know how hard it is to lose your Mom. But I know she is in Heaven with my Dad and I hope you find the same comfort in knowing your Mom is there too, in a far better place.
Sincerest Sympathy,
Peter and Donna Nelson

I am writing on behalf the Lopes family to extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family and to express our sincere condolences on the recent passing of your mother. We was so very sad to hear about your mom; Auntie Rosie was such a wonderful woman.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss your mother at this difficult time and celebrate Auntie Rose’s remarkable new life.
Although I wasn’t there much because I moved away I still remember all the good times we had together growing up you know. I did come to realize her great kindness towards those less fortunate than her, always giving and caring for others
I do know that she was very highly respected throughout the community and her profession, and her good works changed the lives of many.
You all were truly fortunate to have such a wonderful mother as a role model in your life.
As you know, it was not that long ago that my father passed away, however I know that he was not there for us I did forgive him before he died. So I have some idea of what you and your family are going through. No comfort is quite enough to replace the loss.
Please let me know whether there is anything I can do to help during this difficult time. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I will light a candle for Rose M. Barros tonight.
We’re sorry that we cannot be with you in person.
Please pass my deepest sympathies on to the rest of your family.

Rose was a wonderful and beautiful person with a great heart. I will always cherish the fond memories I have of her and your family back in days of Saturday night Chinese food and my "specialty drinks". Rose always had a smile for you. I remember her frequently saying, "Hey what are you going to do? You can only do so much". That was Rose. Her motto..Do what you can do and let it go at that. She kept things simple. She didn't beat around the bush. She was honest and direct but sweet. She always inquired as to the well being of my family. She always had kind things to say about my mother. She treated me with kindness and love from the beginning to the end. What more can you ask from a person. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her. She was the rock of the Barros family. I pray her family keeps her memories and spirit alive by remaining close together as family. May God Bless you all and give you strength during these trying times...Sincerely John "Jay" Paulo Jr.

To all of my dear cousins and their children;
I so wish I could be with you to tell you in person how much your Mom was like another mother to me and to my family. I have always looked forward to seeing her face whenever I came home. She was a "special treat", a refreshing laugh, and genuinely concerned about me and my family. My children adored her and loved her humor and honesty.
Please keep in touch with me when you are able. Either by email or telephone.Home 562-428-8950 / crvrgrl3@yahoo.com
My family is saddened, we all send our love and sympathy to you.
Love you dearly,
Peggy, Albert, Lauren, Marissa & Vyana

Aunty:
I won't say good-bye...but just a fond "so long"...it's your time to rest now...you've surely earned it...but I will miss your warm "hello" and great smile as you walked through my mom's kitchen door...I will try not to ask about you every time that I call home..but it won't be easy...since you've always been such an important part of my longing to see Carver again..there will be a missing space in my heart that no one can replace....I feel truly blessed to have had you in my life...and thinking about you, the sound of your voice (especially the way your voice always went up when you were upset), your wonderful laugh and your warm and loving "how ahh you?" will always bring a smile to my face and my heart.....thanks for being my friend...with so much love for you.....I miss you already!
