So very sorry for your loss. She was part of some wonderful memories of childhood in Halifax. Always smiling and laughing, bright eyed and involved in her family.
Those evenings on the best lawn in Halifax, (Dad was always envious,) drinking out of the hose, playing games and wondering just how long she could walk on her hands! And then spending forever trying to accomplish the same. Sleepovers, the "Chicken Hut" and path, rides to Burger Chef; driving with a car loaded with kids. Flipping the mirror down to put on her lipstick. Bob giving us rides on his motorcycle; it all was a very special time in our lives. Kids today could only hope for such a childhood, and Ruthe gave much to make it.
I loved her spirit and the world is less without her in it. Love and a big hug to all~Karen
