Michael Eddy Darsch of Plymouth, formerly of Kingston died on January 19, 2008. He was 49 years old. Mr. Darsch was born in Plymouth, and raised and educated in Kingston. He is a graduate of Silver Lake High School. Following his graduation from high school he enrolled in Boston State University where he earned his degree. He joined the Kingston Police Department shortly after, and has served for the department for over 20 years. He enjoyed running, and has participated in the Boston Marathon. He also enjoyed skiing, as well as hockey. He enjoyed spending his summer vacations at Saquish Beach. Mr. Darsch is survived by his son, Michael T. Darsch, and his daughter Rachel E. Darsch both of Kingston. He is the son of Florence M. Darsch, and the late Alfred D. Darsch. Brother of Alfred D. Darsch of FL, James M. Darsch of Kingston, Cynthia Sampson of Kingston, Peter Darsch of Kingston, and Matthew Darsch of Plymouth. Companion of Marie Donnelly of Plymouth. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews. An hour of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston, on Saturday, January 26th, followed by a memorial service to begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave, Boston, MA 02115. The Darsch family would like to invite Friends & Family to join them after the service Sat. at the Plymouth Yacht Club on Union St. in Plymouth MA.
