"THE FALLEN HERO"
Everyday you did your job, without question & without fear. It could have been morning, noon or night, but I knew you would be there. You didn't have to know me, or you could have been my friend. It amazingly didn't matter, you were there until the end. We know you didn't want to leave, but you served your call of duty. Our hero has left the precinct, but shall forever be in our hearts. copyright @ 2001 Donna Potrykus

To the Darcsh Family,
It is with great sadness that I heard of the passing of Mike. Having known Mike since the first grade and working with him years ago at Scanlon's gas station, he was always a true friend. Loyalty, honesty and integrity best describe my old friend Mike. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. May God bless you all. Steve LaForest

Michael loved the "Duke" and in one of his last TV interviews, the Duke touched briefly on his own mortality: "I've spoken to the man up there on many occasions and I have what I always had; a deep faith that there is a Supreme Being. There has to be, you know; it's just to me, that's just a normal thing, to have that kind of faith."
Today you were officially laid to rest.
Be at peace.
Watch over us.
We will always love you.

It is with such sadness tht I write this message. Being Matt's sister-n-law I know how much Michael meant to him. He so enjoyed visits and times with Michael, especialy these past several months watching the Red Sox and Patriots. What a great family the Darsch clan is. Flossy should be so proud of the family she created. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

We will so much miss Mike, our first neighbor in Kingston, our friend. We will miss his "wave". He was proud of his children, our last conversation was about his pride in them. To his Mother, Sister, Brothers, loved ones, to his children we send our prayers and a promise that Mike will not be forgotten. (We think of him fondly and his care of "old blue") Kingston is a better place for his life and service.

Those we Love remain with us,
for Love itself lives on.
Cherished memories never fade,
because one loved is gone.
Those we Love can never be,
more than a thought apart,
for as long as there’s a memory,
they live on in our heart...
Although no words can help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.....
Thinking of you,
Love,
Scott, Maureen(Wager), Brian and Marissa Kessell
