Obituary of Cora April

Cora M. April, of Duxbury, a faithful servant of God, entered into eternal rest on January 6, 2008. She was 97 years old. She was born on April 9, 1910 in Fall River, the daughter of the late Edouard and Claudia LeDoux. Her Husband,Paul J. April predeceased her in 1963. Cora was the beloved mother of three sons; Edward April and his wife Kate of Mystic, CT, Paul April and his wife MaryLou of N. Falmouth, and John April of Worcester, and five Daughters; Lorraine Whitehouse and her husband Bill of Duxbury, Helen April of New london CT, Carol Bourque and her husband Edmond of E. Lyme CT, Janet Cahoon and her husband Steve of Albion, ME, and Susan Weiditz of Guymon, OK. She also leaves a sister, Lucille Ross of Fall River, 33 Grandchildren, 62 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 11th from 6-9:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A mass of ressurection will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St, Duxbury on Saturday, January 12th. Burial will be at the Mayflower Cemetery Duxbury MA.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Family Church in her memory.
