To:Paul April,of Falmouth
While you and your wife were presenting "Words of Remembrance" durring the service, I was looking at Cora's picture on the front of the hand out. It was just so nice what you said.
When Johnny sang "Mother" there was not a dry eye in the house. My remembrance of aunt Cora is when my dad, my brother Joey, and myself would go down to your house and cut fire wood on the big saw down back. Then load it into the truck and deliver it to uncle Paul's customer's home.
Aunt Cora would always have have hot dogs and beans ready for us. It would be dark by the time we got done. We would go in thru the cellar and take off our dirty outer clothes along with our boots. Up the stair way onto the first floor we would go to the waiting table loaded with food.
I have never forgotten the sounds, smells, the sights, and the feelings during the time that i spent at your home. I never questioned why the visits to uncle Pauls house made such an impression in my heart. It just had to be the unconditional love that your entire family placed upon us. Nice feelings.
Jim.

To the family and friends of Little Cora...
May you find the blessings in her passing and remember her always as the sweetest person God allowed us to share our happy times and our sorrows with. Cora will be terribly missed and I will always remember the hugs and kisses and her smiling face in church. She was a precious gift that I will always treasure.
God Speed my dear friend, your light will shine in the many who loved you dearly!

To my aunts and uncles who called Nana "Mom", I offer my sincerest condolences. She was a wonderful woman who meant the world to so many. I can't help but smile each and every time I remember her as the memories are all good and will be forever cherished. A favorite is her smiling face, surrounded by the white laced curtain on her front door window, the yellow porch light on, as she waved us on our way back to Connecticut. Good bye Nana. Dave
