From growing up across the streets from his parents to having gym class the one thing I looked forward to in high school. I am so thankful to have had him in my life . Thanks Mr Nelson.

I graduated in 1997 and had Nelly for a basketball coah, Oceanography and Anatomy teacher. He truly was the Best! I know everyone that has had a run in with him always has a good story. In class and practices he always made us laugh. I remember when I was having a bad day and a crappy game. He got on the bus and let me have it. It felt like letting your parent down. But I respected him more for it! My daughter also had the priveledge of playing softball for him. She stayed on JV just to play for him. No other coach wad good enough or as fun. My family and I send our deepest condolences to the Nelson family. He was a great teacher, coach and person. We are honored to have been a part in his legacy at MHS. Sincerely The Santiano family

Sue, I am so sorry to hear about Scott. He started with me at the old Jr High and we did start the first ever Jr High Cross Country team! He always talked about you lovingly and and your children. He was Mr. Middleboro in so many ways. Caring, compassionate, and dedicated to all the kids in town. Although I can not come Wednesday, please know his passing has affected me deeply. I have been saying prayers for him and for your family. With deep regret but lots of respect- Dave White
