We remember Greg as a young aspiring oboist in the Southeastern Philharmonic Orchestra in Weymouth, MA. Greg's Dad would bring him to rehearsals on Thursdays and many of our concerts. He was a super devoted Father to Greg from our view and we loved that he supported Greg in his many interests. Greg, Our hearts go out to you and your family in this time of sorrow. Please know you will always have a family with the SPO and we are here for you if you need comfort. We love you so much and wish you and yours Peace.

My deepest sympathies to all who loved Dr. Milliken. My husband, my children and myself were shocked and saddened to hear of his passing way too soon. He taught us so much about our eyes as well as life in general! What a terrible loss to the world. We are all better off having known him.

Kate's family from New Hampshire is sending our sincere condolences, prayers and love to David's family. He was such a generous and caring man who helped many people and especially those in financial stress. An example, were his elderly patients and his trips to Costa Rica. My sister Kate considered him a very close friend as well as her employer and I know he took a piece of her heart. May he be at peace and the angels in heaven be trumpeting with joy as they welcome him. Sincerely, The Keith Family

My deepest sympathy to Dr. Milliken's family. As a patient at Milliken eye care, eye exams will never be the same: because they weren't 'just' eye exams. Office visits were a pleasant exchange of conversation and insight with warm and friendly people. I'm so stunned and saddened; there are just no words for this loss. Rest in peace, Dr. Milliken.

To all who treasured Dr.Milliken:
I have always felt fortunate to have found Dr. Milliken when I moved to MA in 2010. He helped with glasses and then guided me through the cataract surgery process with his associates in Plymouth. I recently learned he loved to kayak - hope he is having a great time on a river somewhere right now.

To the family of Dr. Milliken,
We are so saddened by the loss of such a wonderful man. My son had a bad experience at another eye doctor and someone recommended Dr. Milliken. We are so glad! As soon as we walked in, he was joking with my son, who was 8 at the time and made him feel at ease. It easy to tell that he truly liked kids and his job. We are so thankful and we will miss him! We hope your memories will comfort you today and in the months and years ahead.
Respectfully,
The Tierney Family

Every person in our family, we are realizing now as we now share the stories, had extraordinarily special moments with Dr. Milliken over a period of many years. He taught so much - effortlessly it seemed - a consumate doctor who cared for the whole person, was excited about his field and eager to share information, how he pursued his education inspired us to follow our dreams. His connection with nature... love of clamming, kayaking - he shared his life with us and we felt a deep sincere bond. We felt good coming to the office, even better coming out.
How lucky we the chance to know him. We pray for his family and friends who are going through this great loss. Many blessing to you.

My heartfelt and deep condolences to Dr. Milliken's family, associates and office staff. I am shocked and saddened to learn of David's untimely death. He saw both my husband and myself through successful cataract surgery. I always knew we were getting the best of eye care these past several years. A visit to David's was like a visit to a friend who truly had your well being at heart. He will be greatly missed. To his family, may you find comfort and moments of peace in your special memories of David. Know that others share your sorrow and you are being held in hearts and prayers.
In heartfelt sympathy,
Dot Cole (Scituate)

I am so very sorry for your loss. My children and I all had Dr. Milliken as our eye doctor. He made my small children laugh in appointments and put them immediately at ease. As they got older he piqued their curiosity with interesting information about eyes. He was an amazing human being and will be missed greatly. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
