Gerard A. Trepanier, Jr, “Gerry”, 74 of Halifax, went home to God on January 1, 2016. This was a great blessing for him but a great loss for all those who loved him. He leaves his faithful companions “Maggie" and “Mulligan". His sister Anne Marie T. Landisi and her husband Ronald of FL and CT; Niece and godchild Marianne Brady of CT; and niece Cathie Landisi of FL and loving companion Susan Flood of Pembroke. Gerry is also survived by his three grand nephews. Gerry is a graduate of Stonehill college. He went on to earn his Masters degree from Babson College. Gerry has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1971, and later a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) since 1993. He was a faithful parishioner and Lector at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Halifax. Gerry was a member of the Halifax Country Club where he loved playing golf. He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus and an avid fan of the New England Patriots. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Sunday January 17th from 2-6:00 PM, at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St, (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 18th, at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 580 Monponsett St (Rt 58) Halifax at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations for Masses to be said for the repose of Gerry's soul may be made to Our Lady of the Lake, 580 Monponsett St, Halifax, 02338.
