Obituary of James P. Davidson

James P. Davidson, age 72 of Plympton passed away peacefully on October 3, 2015. He was the loving husband of Linda Orne Davidson. He is also survived by his loving children Mary Caramanica and her fiancé David Antonuccio, Theresa Davidson-Russo and her husband Dennis, Kimberly Eriksson and her husband Steven as well as siblings Elizabeth Hansen wife of Richard Hansen, Richard Davidson and the late Donna Davidson, Robert Davidson and Marie Sheehan wife of Paul Sheehan. James will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Michael, Rachael, Nicole, Kaitlyn, Savannah and Mason. James was a veteran in the US Air Force. He is a retired long term employee of the Boston Globe. James was an avid hunter, fisherman and snowmobile enthusiast. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and camping. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St. Pembroke, MA on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00PM. Funeral services will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, October 9, at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 1 Maquan St, Hanson, MA at 11:00AM. Internment will follow Mass at Center Cemetery, 40 Oldham St. Pembroke. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Hospice of the South Shore, 30 Reservoir Park Dr. Rockland, MA 02370
