Obituary of A. Charles Caranci

A. Charles Caranci, Jr, 80, a lifelong resident of Plymouth, passed away on November 28, 2014, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Charlie is a graduate of Weymouth Trade School, and served in the US Navy as a Sea Bee. Following his discharge from the Navy he began his career in land developing. Charlie is a well known local businessman and land developer, and was always happiest when he was in the middle of a construction project. Some of his most proud accomplishments included starting, and overseeing Pinehurst Village as well as Squirrel Run Country Club, both in Plymouth. He will be dearly missed by many.
Charlie leaves his beloved wife, Mary Jane Caranci. Loving father to Lydia Carey and her husband Thomas of Plymouth, Charles A. Caranci of Plymouth, and Steven P. Caranci of Plymouth. Son of the late Arthur C. Caranci Sr., and Mary C. (Borghesani). Cherished grandfather to Thomas Carey and his fiancée Kristen Doherty of Carver, and Timothy Carey of South Boston. A private graveside service was held on Monday, December 1st at the Plymouth County Cemetery.
