Sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I was in Maine last week end , otherwise I would have come to pay my respects for a special woman . As a child I often heard my father Ted talk about "Betsy" one of his favorite cousins. He would speak of her as full of life and humor. Through his stories I learned to admire her as a woman rich with friends and family who had a warm and welcoming spirit. With deepest sympathy, Susan Sherman Lonergan

To the family:
Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of your loved one. My mother, Carolyn Sherman Richmond (one of Bertha & Louis Sherman's daughters) was a cousin to Betsy and was very fond of her. I think Nancy, Betsy and Elizabeth Forman visited Mom when she was in the nursing home in Deer Isle, ME. I took care of my Mom in my home the last year and a half of her life. Although it was only through Mom I knew Betsy, we are family, and I am glad that Elizabeth had notified some of my cousins to let us all know of her passing. My blessings to each of you at this difficult time. With love,
"Carol Anne" (as my Pembroke families called me as a child.)

We are so sorry to hear of "aunt" Betsy's passing. She was such a lovely woman, we always enjoyed seeing her over the many years on Friday nights at the Plymouth Yacht Club... Her smile was so welcoming, she will be missed!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
With our Deepest Sympathy, Pam & Peter Boucher
