To the family:
Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of your loved one. My mother, Carolyn Sherman Richmond (one of Bertha & Louis Sherman's daughters) was a cousin to Betsy and was very fond of her. I think Nancy, Betsy and Elizabeth Forman visited Mom when she was in the nursing home in Deer Isle, ME. I took care of my Mom in my home the last year and a half of her life. Although it was only through Mom I knew Betsy, we are family, and I am glad that Elizabeth had notified some of my cousins to let us all know of her passing.
