The Gladu family (especially Smokey) will miss Larry's visits. No-one will ever spoil Smokey as much as his "Uncle" Larry. His visits were always something that I looked forward to, we always had some good laughs just sitting and talking and drinking coffee. Haying will never be the same. He was a very good man, and will be fondly remembered, and missed alot.

Larry was a good and gentle man. His kindness, humor and love of animals was well known to his friends.
I became friends with Larry through the Gladu Family. I always looked forward to seeing him at the annual Memorial Day and Labor Day cook outs at Mrs. G's house. At each cook out, we shared a Moxie and we became known as "The Moxie Twins".
Gods speed Larry. You will be greatly missed by your family and friends.

I am so incredibly blessed to have had Grampa Larry as my grandfather. I will treasure every memory and am very grateful that I have so many! I hope I can be as wonderful a grandparent as Grampa Larry has been to me.

I have lots of fond memories of Grandpa Larry… spending a large portion of my summers with him and Nana, swimming, water skiing, fishing for hornpout, feeding the squirrels, going into the woods to cut wood for the wood stove, shoveling out the dirt to make their basement, the ‘nail in the finger’ prank he pulled on Wanda, calling me “Yulie”, drinking Sanka, drinking Moxie (yuk!), cracking nuts, joke gifts at Christmas (including ‘the shirt’), and in more recent years writing letters to each other since I moved to Alaska. He was always interested in what was going on in my life and always had a story to share.
