Janet Kosak (Bryson) of Duxbury, MA, was born on November 4, 1933. She passed away on March 30, 2014 at the age of 80. Janet was a devoted mother, sister and grandmother. She is survived by her loving brother Francis Bryson of Weston, MA, her treasured sisters Marion Panora of Norwood, MA and Dorothy Delaney of Potomac, MD, her dearest daughter Nancy Doyle of Mansfield, MA, her cherished sons Neil Kosak of Milton, MA, Douglas Kosak of Hanover, MA, Peter Kosak of Northville, MI and Charles Kosak of Arlington, VA and her beloved grandchildren Elizabeth A., Meghan, Jack, Jessica, Stephen, Emily, Kelsey, Sarah, Grace, Elizabeth C. and Nicolas. She attended Our Lady's High School in Newton, MA, and worked for years in the Legal Bureau of the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. Janet raised her children and spent most of her life in Duxbury, MA. She possessed an indomitable courage and spirit for life, coupled with a personality you loved to be around. She will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known and loved her. Visiting hours from the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St., Kingston, on Fri. April 4, from 4-8PM. Funeral from the Shepherd Funeral Home on Sat. April 5 at 10:00AM, followed by a funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St., Duxbury at 11:00AM. Interment in Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury. The family would like to thank the Duxbury Senior Center and the Duxbury Fire Department for their service and support to Janet. In lieu of flowers, all donations can be made to the Friends of the Duxbury Council on Aging (COA) at the following address: 10 Mayflower St., Duxbury, MA 02332.
