I'd like to extend my deepest sympathies to the Kosak family. I had the privilege of working with Janet at the Department of Revenue many years ago. She was a wonderful person and my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Janet was participating in a class of 25 which I was leading in the Lifelong Learning Program at the Duxbury Senior Center. I remember having a brief conversation with Janet on March 24 and noting that she had also participated in a class I had led on a different subject previously. Then I went away for a week and thus we didn't have class on March 31. On my return when entering class on April 7 another participant informed me of Janet's death. Needless to say I was surprised and saddened and sorry that I couldn't attend her funeral. We began class on April 7 with a silent prayer for Janet and we wanted to share with you our sorrow on learning of her passing. - Regards - Frank Daly

I have many, many fond memories of Aunt Janie and the times we spent together. In NJ, Cape Cod and Duxbury beach!
My mother was especially close to her and I love thinking that they are reunited.
I am sorry I will be unable to make it back east for the funeral, but do know I am sending a lot of love to Duxbury, MA.and all of you.

My prayers are devoted to Janet Kosak and her family during this difficult time. I only had one opportunity to meet Janet to enjoy both her sense of humor and strength of spirit. Her son and my friend, Charles, often spoke of his deep love and respect for his Mother. I have no doubt that all that knew Janet Kosak feel the same.
