We were deeply saddened to just learn of Norm's passing...he was such a nice guy. It was always a pleasure to have Norm and Nancy stop by during one of their jet boat rides on Oldham Pond.
Our heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to the entire family

Dear Nancy and family,
Joe and I are so sorry to hear of Norms passing. Unfortunately we were unable to attend the wake or service this evening, I had to pick my sister up from the hospital and Joe worked until 7pm.
If we can help in any way please do not hesitate to ask.
Again we send our condolences to you and your family. Remember it not the years in ones life that counts but the life in ones years.

To the family of Norman Shepherd,
Mom and I send our condolences to each of you. I am taking care of my Mom at my home in Jonesport, Maine. Susan (Sherman) Lonergan (my first cousin) notified us of Norm's passing. My Mom is Carolyn (Sherman) Richmond (98 years old). She and "Shep" were first cousins and played together as children. Mom remembers she rode her bicycle to Shep and Connie's "to see the new baby" after he was born. Melvin Shepherd, Sr. was my grandmother's brother. My grandmother was Bertha Shepherd Sherman. Mom would especially like to be remembered to Connie. I assume Susan's brother Paul Sherman was closest in age to Norm on Bertha's side of the family. Mom tells me Uncle Melvin (Sr.) was the youngest of Bertha's siblings. I can remember Elsie and Melvin as a young child, as we still lived in Pembroke until I was 7 and I am turning 71 in the fall.
Blessings and love,
Carol Anne (Richmond)-Diskus

I am so sorry to hear about Norms passing. I am in shock. I knew Norm thru my brother Dave who worked for Norm at Sheperd's auto. He let Dave work on my cars when they got into an accident. Sorry to hear about Norm again. We will miss him and he will be watching over us.
