Thank you all for your expression of sympathy for the loss of mom. I think of her everyday and miss his sweet ways. It was so thoughtful of you all. Thank you.
Since mom's passing life is filled with challenges, but that is what makes life so precious. Sometimes I get caught up in fear of all the changes, but then I remember that I get to live one day at a time and I can't change what has happened. I also know that I can't live in the future. It is only the moment that I have so I must make the best of each day. So I try to focus on all my blessing and count them. Mom was one of them. Since Mom lived me me these last 5 years, I got to know her in a way that I would not have gotten to know her. It was so scary at first, not knowing if I could handle it, not knowing if she would be happy or how it would disrupt my family. But God blessed us greatly. Dick learned to care for mom I never would have expected. I got to have wonderful female company that only girls can truly enjoy. So you see, sometimes what appears as a burden is really a gift. The only time it was a burden was when I could no longer care for her at home due to her failing health. I missed her, worried about her care, and spent alot of time at the nursing home making sure she felt loved and cared for. The cousins and aunts sent flowers and cards and mom loved to get them. The staff was very personable with her so I was very lucky. The thing I remember most about her last days was her wanting to be called Theres instead of Theresa and she constantly thanked everyone with an exagereated but sincere "Mercy Beaucoup". She seemed to return to her begininings..her french childhood became more clear to her and she expressed it often. God is good and life is good. I was lucky to have mom in my life. Enjoy your moms while you them. I know I did..A big big special thanks to Michelle for her weekly visits that kept mom on her toes (laughing too), to Patrick for his weekly visits and his warm special ways with mom. Most of all I want to thank Richard, who ran errands, checked on mom all the time to make sure she was happy and safe. YOU are the very best son-in-law a mother could ask for in a life time! Thank you to all who sent cards, attended the wake, the funeral and the collation luncheon. May God bless you all for your love, hugs, kisses and compassion. God Bless!!

So sorry to hear of aunt Terri's passing. I so enjoyed visiting with her at aunt Aura's party this past summer. I am so glad I was able to go and see everyone that was there. Your mom has always a special aunt to me. I have so many memories from my childhood with her and all of you in them. I'm sure she is in heaven with all the rest of the family. Hold onto memories of her. Love to all, cousin Marie.

Aunt Terry was a very special lady. She did not have an easy life and yet never expressed it. She always had that warm smile and sometimes that childlike giggle. Her faith and family is all sheneeded life. I have so many wonderful memories of her. Here are just a few:
Getting our annual "pixy" cuts at the Beauty Garden
Stayng overnight in Columbia Point or at her Quincy Home
Terry's visits to the Flag Day Parade and Christmas Parade - she loved a kiss from the Mayor
