On December 31, 2024, Marilyn Proctor of Kingston, MA, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 89.

Marilyn was born and grew up in Weymouth, MA. She was a graduate of Weymouth High School and a 1978 graduate of Quincy Jr. College. She began a career as a legal secretary and was later employed at the US Department of Defense where she enjoyed many years working as an Industrial Specialist. Marilyn was an avid reader with a special fondness for poetry. She had a passion for gardening, enjoyed travel excursions with her friends, and especially loved spending time with her family.

Marilyn is survived by her children Linda Casserly and her husband Patrick of Kingston, Bonnie Mercurio and her husband Dominic of New Hampshire, and Raymond Melikian and his wife Anna of Nevada. She was loving Grammie to Joy, Christopher, Nicholaus and Danielle.

A private service will be held to celebrate and honor Marilyn’s life.
