Kathleen Maria Gelowtsky (Flynn), 82, of Plymouth, MA, passed away on December 8, 2024.  Born on August 1, 1942, the only daughter to William Flynn and Mary (Martin). Devoted wife to Joseph Gelowtsky and loving mother to Joseph, Christopher, and John.

Kathy graduated from St Mary’s High School and graduated from The Chandler School of Boston MA. During her career, Kathy worked in the administrative field of MIT, Harvard Law School, and Tufts Medical. Her most satisfying position was in Student Services at Plymouth North High School as “Mrs G” where she loved working for the Dean of Students and especially with every young scholar. Kathy did her best to help keep students out of trouble and on the path to success. Kathy was touched by so many of her “kids” and is still remembered fondly by them.

Kathy was a strong believer in her Heavenly Father and the teachings of Roman Catholic Church. She was a proud member of the Secular Franciscan Order where she followed the teachings of St Francis.

She is survived by her husband Joseph, her sons Joe, Chris and John, daughters-in-law Jenn and Kristen as well as her four grandchildren, Jordan, Alexandra, Samantha, and Max.

Kathy will be laid to rest with services held at Saint Kateri Catholic Church on 125 South Meadow Rd, Plymouth, MA with the wake on Thursday, 12/12/24 from 4-7 pm at Saint Kateri Catholic Church.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, 12/13/24 at 9 am Saint Kateri Catholic Church, followed by her burial at the Veterans Cemetery in Bourne, MA.

All are welcome to attend. Donations to Boys Town/Father Flanagan's Boys' Home in her name are appreciated.
