Annemarie (Costato) McKay of Halifax passed away suddenly on December 6, 2024.
Annemarie was born on June 9, 1938, and spent her childhood years in Stoughton, MA. She was a graduate of St. Johns High School in Canton. She worked at the Reebok for many years and was proud to be one of the five original employees. She liked to landscape her property, restoring her antique home and watching the Patriot game on Sunday with her brother. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister , aunt and friend to many, Annmarie was full of fun and always ready for a challenge.
Her beloved husband Luis McKay precedes her in 1998. Annemarie leaves behind a son Robert Hines of Buda Texas, a Daughter Lynn Silva of New Bedford, a brother Thomas of Plympton and his wife Louise, a sister Marilyn of Abington and her husband Daniel Brielmann and grandchildren Katlyn, Zachary Ngoc, his fiancé. And Jacob Silva, Kenneth Reale, Taryn Reale McKay, several Great Grandchildren and her close friend Marcia Pennington.
Calling hours for Annemarie will be held at the Kingston Funeral Home on Sunday December 15th from 3 to 6. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday the 16th at Saint Josephs Church in Kingston with a burial to follow at the Center cemetery in Halifax.
In honor of Annemarie’s life, donations can be made to the Saint Jude foundation in Annemarie’s name.
