Obituary of Robert R. Parsons Jr.

Robert Russell Parsons, aged 71, of West Bridgewater, passed away on November 18, 2024. Born on March 7, 1953, to Robert and Catherine Parsons, he was a beloved figure in his community and a dedicated family man.

Robert graduated from Southeastern Regional Vocational School and proudly served in the U.S. Navy, dedicating years of service to his country before embarking on a successful career. He was the owner of Parsons Plumbing and Heating, a business that thrived under his hardworking and meticulous care.

A man of faith, Robert was a devout member of St. Ann's Parish in W. Bridgewater. His life was marked by genorosity and kindness, qualities that extended into his personal hobbies. He was an avid hunter who cherished family gatherings and was renowed for his cooking skills, Robert also devoted time to coaching and sponsoring the Hitmen football team of Brockton, MA, and found joy in the company of his beloved pet cats.

Robert leaves behind his wife Ann; daughter Michelle Pettinato and her husband John of Andover, NH; son Shawn Goyette and his wife Jody of Halifax, MA; sister Linda Mearn of Plymouth, MA; brother, Ronald of Brockton; and many nieces and nephews. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The family expresses their profound gratitude to The Guardian Angels Co. for their unwavering support and love during Robert's final days.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Catherine Parsons, and his sister Cathy Parsons. 

Robert's legacy of love, service, and community will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
