William (Bill) T. Horner, of Bryantville, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024 at the age of 93. He was the devoted husband of the late Jane Horner for 60 years. He is survived by his wife Pauline Long. He leaves behind his four children, Bryan Horner and his wife Debbi, Gregg Horner and his husband Dennis, Lynne Badeau and her husband Don and Tricia Travers and her husband Ben. He was a loving grandfather to Ashley (Bryan), Jess (Chris), Max, Lauren and Eric and had three great grandchildren. He was also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends and was the loving brother of the late Millie Johnson and brother-in-law Ken.

He was born and raised in Quincy. In 1948, he graduated from North Quincy High School and then went on to serve in the Air Force. He worked for numerous insurance companies as a sales representative.

Bill was a loving and caring man who always made you feel welcomed. He had a sense of humor and laugh that was infectious and brought a smile to your face. One of the joys of his life was to share in the making of countless lifelong memories on Little Sandy Bottom Pond with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. He enjoyed fishing, sailing, coaching softball and the swim team, as well as running the Pembroke town beaches with his wife Jane. He was an active member of the Bryantville United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or The American Diabetes Association.

The family truly appreciates the tremendous love and care he received at The Hannah B. G. Shaw Home and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth.

Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston on Saturday, October 19th from 10:00 to 12:00PM. A funeral service will follow at 12:00pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Centre Cemetery in Pembroke.
