In the 1960s, I worked with Bob at Liberty baking Co in Brockton Ma. Bob was a hard worker and fun to work with. As Bob and Bill Brooks would finish up work in the sunrise hours of the day, the three of us would go to Dunkin donuts just down the street.
We would sit and eat, drink, and hang out together watching the clientele that would be sitting inside.
Although I have not seen Bob in 50 years, I always appreciated his decency and sense of humor.
His laugh was contagious.
The last time I saw Bob, he was trying to involve my wife and me in sell Amway products. I often wondered how that worked out for him?
My deepest regrets to you Donna and your family. Bob will be missed by all he met: especially those of us who enjoyed a good laugh and the joy of friendship.
God bless us all in this time of Thanksgiving for the life, witness of faith in Christ Jesus, and the way Bob served us with true goodness. Blessed to have known Bob as a friend and coworker.
Reverend Tom Dornan. L.c.m.s.emeritus Pastor serving the New England District of the Missouri Synod lutheran church.

My heart goes out to Donna and the kids. Bob truly was one of a special kind and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Bob was one of the finest men I have encountered in my life for so many reasons. His character always impressed me first and foremost- caring, honest, ethical, loyal friend and always held his family as most important to name a few of his qualities. There were few that could surpass him in a business setting, he was so knowledgeable and intelligent that he contributed greatly to all of the organizations he engaged with. I was lucky enough to work beside him in many of his endeavors on the South Shore and called him my friend. I will miss him. Ron Cleaves

As a volunteer with Wellspring, it was my great honor to meet Bob when his interest was piqued in the work and mission of Wellspring. Bob was caring in the extreme regarding helping Wellspring's clients, and also he was very careful about where and how he invested in local charities. I admire the careful review of Wellspring that Bob undertook and was grateful to share data and stories pertaining to the organization. Bob was the epitome of kindness, professionalism and leadership. He will be deeply missed. On behalf of Wellspring and me, personally, please accept deepest condolences for this tremendous and unexpected loss.

I had the pleasure of working for and with Bob on several projects for almost 20 years. My longest term of employment. I originally joined Electroswitch after being laid off and considered the job to be temporary. Because of the stewardship and culture he created I never felt more at home or appreciated. I learned at lot from Bob through the years and look forward to many more. Thank you Bob.

Dear Donna and the Pineau family members:
I, and Kathleen, were deeply saddened in hearing about Bob’s passing. I have known Bob for 18 years and always looked forward to speaking with him and listening to his words of wisdom. He was a man of compassion and caring and you could tell that with the way he conducted his affairs with Electroswitch and the outside organizations that he participated in and supported. He was always proud of his family and the company and it was a blessing and a privilege to have worked for him. He would always take the time to meet and greet us at the Christmas parties and in our quarterly meetings, he would show his sense of humor and make us all comfortable. So Bob did good for all of us and he will be sorely missed by all and we are very thankful to have known him and met Donna, and again our deepest condolences.

To the entire Pineau family,
The hearing of Mr Pineau's early passing has been a shock to many but no more shattering than to those closet to him. Mr. Pineau had many qualities worth admiring - however, nothing can hold testament to the person he was than the very characters of his own children. My heart and love go out to everyone in his family including his wife Donna and his four children Brad, Meredith, Brian & Liz.

I worked closely with Bob for over 15 years. He was hardworking, focused, energetic, generous, a committed family man, a leader in the community and a man of great faith. He projected these values in everything he did. Bob always understood that Electro Switch’s success was the result of many individuals from the Company and the community. I’ve attended many meetings where Bob’s focus was assuring that Electro Switch shared its success with both employees and the community. Bob had a keen interest in everybody he met. Bob was always interested in Kathy and Alexandra and what they were doing, what we did on our vacations, how we celebrated family events. Bob had a special ability to remember things about employees and friends. If a Raleigh employee had an ill family member Bob would ask about it when he visited the Raleigh unit, if fires or floods were impacting California employees Bob wanted to know how the employees were doing.
Bob had opinions on many things (maybe everything). There were the usual discussions on the status of financial reports or the results of company performance indicators. But there were also many discussions on the impact of inflation on employees, and when my mom was ill there was the discussion on the importance of spending time with your mother. The breadth of subjects discussed were not limited in Bob’s office.
Bob was very proud of his family and often talked about his children’s accomplishments. I knew the occupations and successes of Brad, Meredith, Brian and Elizabeth and was kept updated on new grandchildren. Kathy and I will always appreciate how Bob and Donna included family in company gatherings and business meetings.
I will miss Bob’s professional and personal advice and his presence in the office, and will always treasure his impact on my life and the time we spent together. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to Donna, Bob's children and the entire Pineau family.

Though fairly new to the organization I found Bob's leadership and guidance to be the best I have experienced in my long career. I looked forward to every call and every meeting with Bob whether here in Raleigh, CW, SGI or Corporate. I learned so much from him and those times will be missed dearly. Bob was all about caring for the people and his support given during the tragic loss of our youngest daughter was so greatly appreciated it made a tough time a little easier for my wife and me. We met Bob through Friendship Home - at Friendship Club in Duxbury where Bob and Donna jumped right in with ease and comfort to enjoy dinner and conversation with the members! Bob and Donna became avid supporters, even hosting our group for a wonderful day on the water at their beautiful home. It was 90 degrees and Bob worked the grill for hours with a smile! Bill and I became friends with Bob and Donna in our shared vacation paradise in Naples. We shared the joys of watching our children become adults and the challenges of aging parents. We enjoyed several St Paddy’s Day parades on the balcony and many laughs and stories over dinner. We always left our encounters grateful to call Bob a friend. We will miss him deeply and grieve with our entire community that we have lost a great man.
Our deepest sympathies go to Donna and the entire Pineau family

Having known Bob for almost 40 years, I am deeply saddened by his passing. Bob was a wonderful person. His generosity and kind nature defined who he was. I always enjoyed interacting with Bob and Donna at the many charitable events they participated in. Bob not only donated monetarily to those in need, but also - and more importantly, his time. He truly cared for people and it showed.
The people you work with are always the most important and memorable part of one's career. Electroswitch is my family and Bob was an integral member of my family; ever present and always kind.

I was, quite frankly, nervous as I knew of Bob's stellar reputation and his deep commitment to the mission of FBMS. He could not have been more magnanimous.
