It is with great sadness that Barbara R. (Walker) Jones, 92 years old, passed away on July 11, 2024. She was surrounded by her family and will be missed dearly.

Barbara is survived by her Daughter Jennifer (Jones) Richards & Husband Jeff of Pembroke, Ma ; her Son Ralph E. (Skip) Jones III of Texas, her Brother, Richard Walker and wife Mary of Falmouth, Ma; her Brother, Arthur Walker and wife Jan of Walpole, Ma. She is also survived by her beloved Grandsons, John E. Jones and wife Yvonne, Nathan Jones and wife Michelle, Brian Richards and wife Kayla, Andy Richards and his wife Paula, Kevin Richards and girlfriend Lindsey Baillie and 9 Great Grandchildren.

Barbara was born in Norwood, Ma. To Arthur and Grace Walker. She resided in Norwood and Walpole for many years before moving to Johnson Vermont which was a wonderful time in her life. After 25 years Barbara moved back to Ma to be close to family. Later in life she became a school bus driver. When asked she would say that was her very favorite job. She was an avid reader, enjoyed being with family and watching the family change and grow through the years. 

Memorial visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston on Sunday, July 21st from 12:00 to 3:00pm. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Barbara’s name to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Loring Blvd, Plymouth MA. 02360
