Michael James Doherty, “Mikey”, 34,  of Kingston, passed away on June 15, 2024. Beloved son of Jeremiah and Virginia M. McCarthy, and the late Kevin J. Doherty. Loving brother to Kevin J. Doherty, Jr. and his wife Anna and the late Sean Doherty. Loving Uncle to Kelsea Rose Doherty, Dash Joseph Doherty, Dove Violet Doherty and the late Daisy Greer Doherty. Michael is also survived by his Niece and Goddaughter Kaylee Shea Doherty.  Doherty Grandson to Francis and Thelma Doherty and Joseph and Alice Mullen. Michael is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 21st from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 22nd at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 272 Main St, Kingston. Graveside service will follow at St. Joseph cemetery in Kingston.
