Obituary of Earle A. Thompson, Jr.

Earle Alfred Thompson, Jr., 96, of Carver formerly of Braintree, passed away on November 22, 2023. Born December 7, 1926, he is the son of the late Victoria (Jamieson) and Earle A. Thompson.

Mr. Thompson attended Braintree schools and graduated from Braintree High School in 1944. He went on to study at Franklin Technical School in Boston and later Ohio State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electricity and Electronics.

Mr. Thompson served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1971 when he retired as a Lieutenant after a decorated military career.

Mr. Thompson is the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Stevens) Thompson. Loving Uncle to Alan Predella of Marshfield. Brother to the late Marjorie Ouellette and Jean M. Predella. Step Father to George Finch, Jr. Stepson of the late Mildred (Shaw) Thompson. Mr. Thompson is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 29th from 11-1:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver.
