To Janet and the girls, my condolences to you. I remember the times my dad Joe Malloy would go and bring me to see "Jackie " about some issue with the car and it would always end up with them having a beer or two and talking. I believe my mother Eileen Malloy might have been one of his teachers at East Bridgewater High School. He name was mentioned many times around my house as a young girl. My next door neighbors were the Goss's and neighbors down the street were the Lavangies. I am blessed to have gotten to know Jackie and Janet even if it was in passing as a young girl. He was the type of person that has definitely touched my soul. I have just one more request for Jackie, if he can enjoy a cold one with Joe and Eileen Malloy in heaven for me. I'm sure dads waiting for a good joke. Touched by an angel on Pond Street. You earned your wings!!

Janet, Jacqui, Juliet, we are so deeply sorry. Our thoughts have been with you every day, and we’ve all been praying for your comfort and strength during such an unbearable time.
The words in Jack’s obituary really just speak so much to who he was and bring up so many memories. What a beautiful way to honor him with words, and the emotions behind them.
I’ll never forget zooming to Green Harbor on the Zodiac with Jack, the best bonfires that only he could throw, his love of The Beach Boys, seeing how quickly he’d help out help a neighbor or help one of the many get unstuck on the beach road, his sunburned face and contagious smile, how his face lit up around his family, how people just naturally loved him, including my family and me, and countless other memories from my childhood and through adulthood. He will truly be missed.

Dear Dad,
What an emotional journey it has been watching you battle Alzheimer’s disease over the last ten years. You have always been so strong mentally and physically and you fought long and hard and put up a good fight. It was incredibly difficult to watch the disease rob you of your verbal skills very early on, and then gradually but steadily decline you physically as the years continued to pass. What was harder than having to start the grieving process while you were still alive was the helpless feeling knowing you never wanted to “live” like this. While it has been so incredibly difficult to say my final goodbye, it is comforting to know you are finally in that better place where you are free from this debilitating and destructive disease. I pray for the cure so that no one else has to suffer as you did and that no one else has to stand by and watch their loved one suffer as I did.
I love you always and forever,
Jacqui

I pray for Peace and Comfort for the immediate family and all those who knew him and loved him and will miss his forever joyful personality. I know I will miss his generous heart, always willing to help fix his brother-in-law's car in one of his favorite places to be...his self-designed and hand-made garage with a lift you could stand up tall under, and he always had just the right tool for the job. Not only that, but he gave the best work guarantee in the neighborhood - 50 feet or 50 seconds whichever came first! All of us have been greatly blessed by knowing him. I am reminded that, after our relationship with the Lord, we are pleased to have loving relationships with others, especially family, Thank you for the many good memories.
