Virginia M. (Sousa) Harlow (Ginny), 88, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, surrounded by her family. Ginny is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Julie and Charles Montgomery of Hanson MA, Tracey Harlow and Michael MacIver of Halifax MA, and Robert J. and Bonnie Harlow of Plympton, MA. Cherished grandmother of Victoria and Matthew Montgomery, Katherine and Meghan Robinson, Sisters Roberta Lewis, and Maria Shapiro. Ginny was loved and will be missed by many nieces and nephews. 

Ginny was born on April 2, 1935, in Quincy MA. Ginny is preceded by her loving husband Robert L. Harlow, her parents Joseph and Mary Sousa, and her brother Joseph C. Sousa (Sonny).

Ginny was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother. She prided herself on her family and had such a great interest in family heritage and her ancestry. A lover of travel as she took any opportunity to do so. She and Bob would often road trip to visit family or friends and sight see around the country. She loved an adventure; she had the ability to turn a trip to the grocery store into “an adventure”. She was truly a treasure, kind and compassionate. She will be treasured dearly by her family evermore.

Memorial visiting hours will be held Sunday, October 8, 2023 at The Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston MA, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Burial service will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 9:30 am at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne MA.
